The grapes for our classic red blend, which is made from Pinot Noir (50%), Zweigelt (40%) and Merlot (10%), come from the Spiegel vineyard with its profound loess soils. This cuvée is matured in big old oak barrels and in 2- to 3-year-old casks made from Allier oak. Displaying bright fruit, good structure and lots of refinement, the Rotspon Classic exhibits aromas of forest berries accompanied by a whiff of almonds that are shrouded by an elegant sweetness of extract. |
